The Washington State Department of Health also has links to find dental care, such as Washington Information Network 2-1-1. This connects you to a searchable database where you can look for dental providers by city, county or zip code. This service is also used to search for all kinds of services to meet other needs, including emergency housing options, finding a job, paying utility bills, food, health insurance, drug and alcohol addiction services, tax preparation, and children in crisis.
The Washington Healthcare Access Alliance (WHAA) website includes a search function that enables you to search for free and low-cost clinics by county and type of healthcare, including dental.
Whatever method you choose to look for dental care, it’s important to realize that you have options to find dental care even if you don’t have dental insurance. It also may be the case that you qualify for insurance and are not aware of it. You can enroll in Apple Health insurance at any time, which includes dental coverage.
